Our Philosophy for Care

At The Georgians we use ultra-modern electronic care and medication records. This ensures that each resident's individual needs are met using personalised care plans. Resident's and their next of kin will be fully involved in the development of the care plan.

We understand that moving into residential or nursing care can often be a huge change. Often moving into a care environment can be a positive social experience, and our caring management and staff will always do their best to make everyone feel welcome, safe and comfortable.

We care for all types of health conditions associated with mobility and sensory impairment, Dementia, Parkinsons and Diabetes. Our staff are led by our Nurses to care for an individual's specific needs and local GPs and other Health Care Professionals are available to attend when required. End of life care is of special importance to us at The Georgians and we feel privileged to support residents and families at this difficult time. We ensure that care plans are closely followed to promote privacy, dignity and choice.

We offer single and twin rooms, all with a nurse call system fitted in each room, enabling residents to contact staff at any time of the day or night.
