Welcome

The Georgians Nursing Home is set in the middle of Lincolnshire’s second town, historical Boston. Within walking distance to ‘The Stump’, or St Botolph’s Church, and situated just next to Central Park.

Registered for both Residential and Nursing, we also welcome those with Dementia and residents aged 18 plus and 65 plus. We also look after residents who need short term respite care, and day care, as well as those who need end-of-life care. With 40 beds, our comfortable home enjoys a happy and relaxed atmosphere, where residents' individuality and independence are respected at all times.

We offer single and twin rooms some with en-suite facilities. All have televisions but if preferred a TV from home can be brought in, we will PAT test any electrical items. Wifi access is available. Some have views of central Boston and some of our courtyard garden. Our caring staff are available to assist residents 24-hours a day to assist with personal needs, with a Registered Nurse on duty at all times.

When coming to live The Georgians, residents may bring their own furniture, helping to create a home-from-home environment.

At the beginning of each day breakfast is served in the dining room with a choice of cereals, toasts, juices, porridge, tea, coffee and a cooked breakfast. Breakfast can be served in the rooms if needed. Morning coffee and afternoon tea is served in our bright sunny sitting room or on our patio, which is a quiet oasis despite being in the middle of town. If preferred, residents can use our newly appointed Summer House and visitors are welcome at all times.

Please note all appropriate Covid-19 risk assessments are in place and this may affect some visiting. Please speak to us to find out the latest.

Meals are home-cooked, varied and nutritious with fresh cakes service for afternoon tea. We pay special attention to individual dietary requirements, and always accommodate residents’ preferences. Food is available for families, please do ask.

Regulation

Care homes in the UK are strictly regulated to ensure high standards of care, safety, and well-being for residents. In England, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) oversees care home regulation, conducting inspections and rating services based on key criteria such as safety, effectiveness, care quality, responsiveness, and leadership. The regulatory body sets standards, investigate concerns, and ensure compliance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and other relevant legislation. Care homes must be registered, meet strict guidelines, and undergo regular inspections to maintain high-quality care for residents.
